TARDIS update - Sorry I've been gone!

I promise I haven't forgotten about the blog, or you, but there hasn't been much to report. I work 40hrs a week and still have to find time to restore my sanity after work, do house work, have a social life and a spiritual life so copper-foiling for the stained glass T.A.R.D.I.S.(s) that I've been working on have been going slow but!

Exciting news, the post of the photos of the TARDIS that my friend and recipient posted on Tumblr has hit 1,000 notes, which is actually pretty exciting for me.

Once I've built the 4 that I have orders for now I plan on advertising on Etsy. I'll have the hubby take nice professional product shots of it so you can really get up close and personal to it.

I'll write again when I have something to report on the TARDIS project or the Trinity Window project.

Trinity Window - Designs

So my mother-in-law's home has a big picture window looking over the Kentucky landscape, and power-lines. So we discussed it, at length, over many months, and we came to the conclusion that I would build a 30" circular window to beautify the space. My husband ended up helping me in the design creating process and we went through many variations of design and color.

Until we finally decided on this one...

So now, I get to start putting it together :)

Mosaic Stained Glass Panel - Purple Passion

So I didn't record my thoughts as I worked on this piece but I did think to take photos as I worked. This took me weeks to finish, and my family member who received it loved it!

My first Post

Well, here I am. I have to be honest I have never ever thought of myself doing a blog. (Okay there was a brief interlude with Xanga in high school but we'll pretend that never happened. I don't know anyone who is proud of their HS blog) Now, why am I doing this blog? I decided I needed a way to chronicle the creative process and projects that I've gone through to complete the beautiful projects you'll see on this page. Hopefully you'll think they are beautiful. I'll try not to venture off down the rabbit hole.
